Hey, my fellow comic book lovers! I just heard that a friend of mine is working on what looks to be a pretty awesome-looking graphic novel that also sounds like it’s just overall cool as hell. Three words: “Goonies in space”. Yeah. Pretty cool. Not to mention my friend wrote a kick-ass run on “Batgirl” before the “New 52” took over, plus artwork by Marcio Takara. So if you get a chance, head on over to his Kickstarter page and throw some love (and a few bucks) his way. Just to give you an idea, here’s some artwork from the project:

Last issue, Carl tracked down his partner’s killer and in the process discovered that Detective Jerry Binder is in league with the violent vigilante known only as the White Rose. The evidence in his partner’s death has literally melted away, but will Carl have enough to bring down the head of the Vigilante Task Force?
