Repercussion Comics

Another day and more votes!  We’re doing great, guys!  Currently, every single one of our titles is on the home page of Comic Hovel!  Has this translated to more visitors to our comics?  Not dramatically, but I have definitely seen a slight rise in visitors to Kwiddex and today Kreetor had the most visitors in almost a month with almost 500 page views!  Every victory’s a victory, no matter how big or small 🙂  Thanks as always for all your support.  Hope you enjoyed today’s Colony page!

Onwards and upwards!  The only comic that lost some ground today was Kwiddex, which went from #1 to #4 at Comic Hovel, but I’ll take it.  And all 6 of our ongoing titles are in the top 20 over there!  So far, I haven’t seen this translate to higher page views as of yet, but keeping my fingers crossed.  Thanks for continuing to support us and hope you enjoyed the 100th page of Kwiddex Protocol today, Pedro knocked it out of the park both with that and with today’s page of Cold-Blooded.

So Comic Hovel DID reset their counts, just a couple days later than I thought, and the big news is that currently, “Kwiddex Protocol” is ranked #1!!!  That is crazy awesome, everybody, thanks for voting!  Earlier tonight, 5 of the top ten comics listed on their site was from Repercussion Comics!  Several have dropped farther down since then, but “The Colony”, “Cold-Blooded”, “Kreetor”, and “Small Press Adventures” are all still in the top 30, so if you can, keep voting daily!  I really hope this will drive more traffic to our stories and get us some more readers, but we’ll see.

So the weekend ends with some very cool news, and Kwiddex being #1 is the perfect way to celebrate our 100th page coming tomorrow!

We are killin’ it on Comic Hovel, folks!  Kwiddex broke the top 50 and The Colony is set to break into the top 100, plus everything else is moving up, too.  Same at Top Web Comics, lots of forward momentum.  Thanks to everyone for taking a few minutes each day to show us some love!

Monday is going to be a big day with our 100th page of Kwiddex Protocol and it’s a doozy and not to jinx anything, but we’re hoping by this time next year, Kwiddex will be updating at minimum 3 times a week, and maybe even daily to the point where we might be able to put out a book a month.  Keep your fingers crossed, but I’m hoping we can make it work because we’ve got some awesome story to tell.  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

So we’re struggling on Top Web Comics and are kind of all over the place on The Web Comic List, but on Comic Hovel we’re climbing daily.  Kwiddex is only a few votes from breaking the top 50, and Cold-Blooded and Kreetor are right behind.  At the current pace, we might be able to crack the top 15 within the month, which would be great!

In other news, Pedro sent Marc and I a preview of the cover of “Cold-Blooded #5”, and I’ll say what I said to Pedro: Yowza!  It’s a two-page spread and really shows off Pedro’s talent for drawing superheroes.  Very excited to see what Marc does with the coloring.  Hope everyone’s weekend is off to a great start and we’ll see you back here tonight with the daily rundown.

So I was wrong about Comic Hovel and The Web Comic List, it looks like they don’t reset every month.  And unfortunately, as of this writing, the Comic Hovel page was down, so I couldn’t get our most recent stats.  But from checking earlier today, we were still making forward progress, including Kwiddex hovering around 55, so we’re steadily moving to the top.  And as you can see, our ranking on Top Web Comics rocketed up several hundred spots for most of the titles.  Thanks to everyone for voting!

In other news, Pedro sent me the last page of artwork for Cold-Blooded #4, and it’s going to be a fantastic issue, and he’s currently already working on Cold-Blooded #5, which will be the final chapter for that particular title.  I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as we enjoyed making it.  Have a great night, and thanks again for your support!
