How do we rank? 3/1/12

So I was wrong about Comic Hovel and The Web Comic List, it looks like they don’t reset every month. And unfortunately, as of this writing, the Comic Hovel page was down, so I couldn’t get our most recent stats. But from checking earlier today, we were still making forward progress, including Kwiddex hovering around 55, so we’re steadily moving to the top. And as you can see, our ranking on Top Web Comics rocketed up several hundred spots for most of the titles. Thanks to everyone for voting!
In other news, Pedro sent me the last page of artwork for Cold-Blooded #4, and it’s going to be a fantastic issue, and he’s currently already working on Cold-Blooded #5, which will be the final chapter for that particular title. I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as we enjoyed making it. Have a great night, and thanks again for your support!

How do we rank? 2/29/12

So here we are, the end of February, and for the short time we’re tracking this stuff, not too shabby. “Kwiddex” almost cracked the top 50 on Comic Hovel and the only place we took a hit today was “Small Press Adventures” on The Web Comic List, which dropped 85 places. Thanks to everyone for continuing to vote!
Tomorrow’s going to be a big day for us now that we’re making a concerted voting effort. All the sites are resetting for the month, so if we can get a lot of votes right away, at minimum we should hopefully get some high numbers the first few days until the more popular voting blocs start ramping up again. Ideally, I’d like to break into the top ten, but it would be just as great if we could get on the front page of Comic Hovel (which shows the top 15) and Top Web Comics (which shows the top 100, with the top 10 featured more prominently.
So we’ll see how we do, but if nothing else it feeds my anal retentive need to track things. And starting at the end of next month, we’ll take a look at how we looked at the beginning and the end of the month. Thanks again for all your support!

“The Colony” and “Cold-Blooded” lost a little bit of traction today on The Web Comic List, but otherwise we’re still trending up with everything else. March 1 is going to be our big opportunity as the voting resets and we can get our foot in the door early.
By the way, if you happen to know anyone who might enjoy reading our comics, please send them our way, link to us (we’ll reciprocate), etc. etc. Or just keep coming back and enjoying our comics. We’ve got some exciting new stories coming up, as well as some big twists and turns for our ongoing titles.
